Air Sierra Leone Limited Expresses Interest in Operating to Liberia
Monrovia, Liberia – September 9, 2024– The Liberia Civil Aviation Authority (LCAA) is pleased to announce that Air Sierra Leone Limited has expressed interest in commencing operations to Liberia. The LCAA is currently engaged in discussions with Air Sierra Leone Limited to assess their readiness and compliance with Liberian aviation regulations.
The proposed services from Air Sierra Leone Limited will enhance travels between the two nations thereby promoting commerce, trade and tourism which are key components of President Joseph Nyuma Boakai’s ARREST agenda.
The LCAA remains committed to fostering a safe, efficient, and competitive aviation environment in Liberia. We are excited about the potential partnership with Air Sierra Leone Limited and look forward to working together to bring new opportunities to the Liberian people.
Director General of the LCAA, Mr. Julius D. Dennis Jr. indicated that the LCAA is exciting about this new partnership and the potential benefits Liberia stands to gain in terms of increased connectivity, tourism, and trade from this new route.
